Pasilyo Capampangan at Maligaya 168 Shopping Center
“Misasanmetung tamu, nanu man ing malyari.” Remembering a line from the song of Gary Valenciano, “Kumusta Ka, Pampanga?”. This lyrics turns to be a motivation, soon a goal and now, an advocacy.
Love for Pampanga and love for Cabalens, this is what Kapampangans have in common. This is also what we have discovered behind the big businesses in Pampanga.
Maligaya 168 Shopping Center is one of the humble places that you will see in the highway of San Fernando, Pampanga. Seems ordinary at first, however, upon searching for the story behind its set up is a deep advocacy for Pampanga.
Sourced from their profile, Maligaya 168 Shopping Center is a year-round bazaar offering the best bargains on branded and unbranded clothes, shoes, bags, lingerie, personal effects, fashion accessories, electronics, pasalubong and gift items.

In middle of the shopping center is the famous “Pasilyo Capampangan”. “Pasilyo” is also known as corridor. It’s a passage of various stalls owned by small entrepreneurs in Pampanga whose products are personally made by Kapampangans and sell them in a low cost price. These small entrepreneurs include NGOs, home businesses, emerging manufacturers, prisoners, churches, communities and individuals.

The place primary goal is to help small Pampanga businesses to emerge, be known and succeed. It opens a lot of opportunities not only to Kapampangans but also to the Pampanga and our country. It also boost the morale of every individual who works behind the completion of the products, which only proves that everything starts from a dream, courage, persistence and unity.
