The Sinukwan Festival much awaited festival in Pampanga revives the Kapampangan spirit and cultural revitalization displayed through grand parade and street dances to the tune of “atin ku pung singsing” in San Fernando Pampanga. This festival celebrates Aring Sinukwan, the god of ancient Kapampangans and is annually organized by Save Pampanga Movement.
Province officials of Pampanga are in high hopes that through the Sinukwan Festival, their vision of making Pampanga a premier tourism destination in the Philippines succeed, and see other provinces join them in celebrating, even compete in the events of the festival, letting the Kapampangans warmly share their own art and culture.
A province-wide fest held in December in the City of San Fernando, it celebrates the Kapampangan spirit with various art and culture-oriented events capped by a grand street-dance parade.
All participating towns of Pampanga outdo each other singing and dancing the Atin Cu Pung Singsing. The fest, which is named after the ancient mythical god Aring Sinukwan, also puts to the fore the various attractions of the cities and municipalities of the province.
